Simple Apple Cinnamon Bread

We had a fun filled Fall weekend!  It was filled with Football Games, Leaf Raking (and Jumping in piles), and some baking!!   I had a ton of apples left that I was worried would begin to rot before anyone ate them all so I decided to try and make some bread out of some of them.

I was very excited with the way this bread turned out and my whole family loved it!  A bonus was that it smelled delicious and made my whole house smell like Apples and Cinnamon for the day!!

Apple Cinnamon Bread

Apple Cinnamon Bread

  • 2 Medium Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Butter (Softened (1 Stick))
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 2/3 cups Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 Medium Apples ((We used HoneyCrisp Apples))
  • 1 1/2 cup Flour

Step 1
Peel your Apples and Chop them into Small Pieces and place to the side. Also Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
Step 2
In a Medium Size Bowl Mix your Brown Sugar and the Cinnamon together and place bowl the side to use later
Step 3
In a large bowl combine the remaining ingredients (NOT APPLES or CINNAMON MIX) and mix with a mixer until smooth.
Step 4
In your bread pan, Place your batter and spread until smooth. Then add the chopped apples on top followed by your cinnamon crumb mixture on top. When I made mine I used two mini loaf pans instead of a larger one so it really is your preference!
Step 5
Place in oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until you can stick a toothpick in the middle and it is not still doughy.
