Reese’s Brownies with Peanut Butter Frosting

Yesterday was my husband’s 30th Birthday!! I wanted to make him something special and since he loves anything to do with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups I finally decided to make this recipe that I found on Pinterest.  I thought that brownies would be neat to make because I have made him Reese’s Cake and Cheesecake already in the past.  I was very happy with the way it turned out and he absolutely loved it!  I found the original recipe here!

Reese’s Brownies with Peanut Butter Frosting

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter (Melted)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa
  • 1 1/3 cup Flour
  • 1 bag Reeses Minis
  • 1 FROSTING INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup Butter (Melted)
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons Milk
  • 1/4 cup Peanut butter
  • Remaining Reeses (Chopped into small pieces)

Directions

Step 1
In large bowl, Mix Sugar and softened butter together
Step 2
Add in Eggs, Vanilla, and Salt and mix well
Step 3
Stir in Cocoa and flour and mix well
Step 4
Take a 9x9 baking dish and spread half of your mixture along bottom. Then take the mini reeses and line the whole bottom of the pan on top of the mixture.
Step 5
Add the other half the mixture on top of the reeses cups and then bake at 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes

Let Cool Then add frosting

FROSTING DIRECTIONS
Step 8
Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl and stir until its desired consistency. After brownies have cooled spread the frosting over top of the brownies and chop remaining reeses cups into small pieces and crumble on top.
Step 9
Place brownies in Fridge for 1 hour to let frosting set. Enjoy!
