Homemade Pizza Rolls

Growing up I lived on the prepackaged frozen pizza rolls.  Little did I know that these things would end up giving me the health problems that I am battling today to erase out of my body!  I vowed after learning the horrible ingredients in them that I would never ever feed those things to my kids!

So over time I’ve learned to make my kids homemade pizza rolls that actually are good for your body and they taste SOOOOO much better than any of the frozen variety around!  I always try to make extra of these but somehow they all still end up eaten by the end of dinner that there is never any extra!  The best part about these is that you can alter them to have any ingredients you want in them!  We like to make them with a little different ingredients each time so that they never get dull.

They are also super simple to make and are great for those nights when you really don’t feel like cooking or you are busy and need something that you can make quickly!

Homemade Pizza Rolls


  • 1 Package Egg Roll Wrappers
  • 1 bag Turkey Pepperoni
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 jar Organic Marinara Sauce (*We used Aldi Brand*)


  • 1 Large Onion
  • 1 jar Yellow Peppers


Step 1
Take out 1 Egg Roll Wrapper and place 3 Turkey Pepperonis in the corner.
Step 2
Top with a spoonful of Marinara Sauce, followed by Mozzarella Cheese, and then additional toppings. (We added onion and yellow peppers to ours)
Step 3
Roll up the egg roll wrappers like an envelope. The back of the package will show you how 🙂
Step 4
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until the wrappers start to turn a golden brown.
